Naturehike's renowned Cloud Up 3-Season Backpacking Tent is a great choice for all backpackers.
This tent uses ultralight nylon, 7001 aluminum poles, the best interpretation of strength to weight ratio. Whether it's hiking or mountaineering, it can provide you with a high degree of comfort, safety and a feeling of space.
The biggest difference is that the tent can be freestanding and has an awning. The seams are fully sealed coated with silicone. Equipped with a reinforced mast with aluminum stakes to cut the wind. High density mesh fabric keeps bugs out.

First of all, I’m not a review writing person. In fact this is the first review I have ever written. However, while I was in the back country I committed to writing a review on this little tent. I recently (sept 2023) spent 4 nights in the back country at Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland Canada during Hurricane Lee. My party and I spent four nights and four days in hurricane force wind and rain and the only reprieve we had were our tents. I purchased the Cloud Up 1 specifically for this trip as I needed a lite tent without breaking the bank. This little tent survived relentless winds and rain and survived the trip and more importantly, kept me and my gear dry. The ability to set up the fly before the actual tent was a life saver as it was impossible to set the tent up in the wind we faced without first securing it to the ground. The one and only fault with this tent in my opinion is the size of the vestibule. It really was a struggle to keep my pack and boots within the tiny vestibule. The pack had to set up against the entrance which made it impossible to get out of the tent without putting my pack out in the rain. If the vestibule was slightly larger I would be a life long endorser as I’m sure nobody put this tent though what I did, and can confirm this tent is the real deal!!
